Speaker Guidelines

Rules of Participation

The official letter from the organization with the presentation topic will be sent on the day when a participant has registered along with the event date. However, an invitation letter that will be necessary for receiving a visa is issued by the organizers to the registrants only; requests coming from the ones who do not have registered will not be considered.

In case of absence, communication must be done directly through email at support@scientificiq.org within less than 24 hours. There shall be no refund issued for any reason; however, in case the registration got canceled due to a cause either from the attendee side or from the organizing team side, the event shall be transferred to one SCIENTIFIC IQ that is scheduled for execution within the time interval of one year from the day of cancellation.

Oral Sessions
Oral sessions consist of presentations of accepted abstracts centered around a specific theme, followed by a structured discussion of these abstracts.

One-Day Registrations
One-day registration includes access to the main conference sessions, exhibitions, poster sessions, and conference materials, as well as tea/coffee breaks and lunch for that day.

Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are allocated a 30-minute slot. Presenters are required to be at least doctorate holders.

Keynote Presentations
Keynote presentations are allotted a 45-minute duration

Workshops

Workshops are planned group discussions that can have some topic or theme at stake, and speakers would make presentations of different insights or views to the attending masses. Interaction and questions should be encouraged between speakers and the audience. The proposal to conduct a workshop shall reach the conference organizers not less than two months before its inception. Workshops might span 1 to 1.5 hours in time. If a speaker wishes to present a workshop in addition to their talk, the abstract for the workshop needs to be submitted to the communication channels provided for such purpose at least two months before the workshop date.

Students

Poster presentations will be allowed for students. To give a discussion, students must register under the YRF category. Posters, which other delegates can also present, must be 1m x 1m in size and participants are requested to bring adhesive which will not harm the venue. The timings of poster presentations will be indicated in the final program to be issued 15 days before the conference.

Poster Sessions

The accepted abstracts shall be given a chance to be presented in poster sessions and graded based on the scientific committee.

Abstract Submissions

The Program Committee will review proposals to present single abstracts for consideration. The abstracts proposed must relate to a session title and/or one of the broad themes of the conference and be approved by the Program Committee to be included in the integrated sessions.

Multiple Presentation Rule

Speakers are permitted to present multiple times, but no more than three presentations per day. Every presentation requires the submission of an abstract. Each abstract proposal is subject to acceptance or rejection by the Program Committee.

Student Participation

Graduate students are in their research phase, and, speaking generally, they should not be session speakers, but they can present a poster or register as YRF and give a talk.

Acceptance Letter

Letters of invitation will be issued to those whose abstracts are accepted by the committee and who have registered for the Scientific IQ Conferences. After registration, you will receive an automatic confirmation from SCIENTIFIC IQ. To give a discussion, students must register under the YRF category.  The acceptance letter with the title of the abstract, name(s) of the author(s), and affiliation(s) do not warrant visa approval. Visa rejections are not the responsibility of Scientific IQ. Participants are recommended to follow their local visa services.

Speaker Guidelines

    • Present professionally on the chosen topic before the conference.
    • Present the abstract in English including the following: abstract title, names of authors, affiliations, and other relevant documents.
    • Ensure all coauthors have approved the submission of their abstract.
    • Ensure you allow enough time to present according to the given time set for your presentation.
    • Email your presentation electronically to the conference moderator at least the day before the conference convenes.
    • Use readable slides: the text should generally be no smaller than 18, with 24 and up being optimal for audience visibility.
    • Prepare in advance. Plan the pacing and timing of your talk. A 30-minute talk will only fit around 30 slides. But don’t forget that each slide with lots of animation builds will take more time to show than a plain old static slide.
